US consumers will be able to purchase the Palm Pre Plus, which has software and hardware improvements over its predecessor, from the end of January along with an upgraded edition of the Pixi, dubbed the Pixi Plus

The keypad and slider are getting improvements on the Pre Plus and the Pixi Plus is getting Wi-Fi connectivity.

The webOS platform has also been given some attention, with more powerful 3D graphics capabilities and some pretty impressive games to go along with it.

The Pre Plus will also have 16GB of onboard storage space, which will allow even more room for apps downloaded from the App Catalogue, which now has games such as The Sims 3 loaded and ready to go.

At the moment these upgraded mobile phones from Palm are only announced for the US market, but hopes are high that the UK will be blessed with their presence in the near future, especially since the original Pixi has not even made it over here yet.
